  1. Control + Click the table, and then click Table Properties.

    If you don't see Table Properties on the shortcut menu, Control + Click in a different part of the table.

  2. In Table Properties, under Text Wrapping, click Around.

  3. To change the distance of the table from surrounding text, click Positioning, and then in Table Positioning, set measurements under Distance from Surrounding Text.

Aug 14, 2014  I am using Version 14.4.3 Word for Mac 2011. Even after I selected the ' Wrap text within text boxes for overlay objects', I still can't wrap the text around the picture within the text box. I can't even change the wrapping style from the default 'in line with text' to anything else.

    If the window is wide enough, Word displays Wrap Text directly on the Picture Format tab.
