Hello /r/mac! I'm a first time poster, first time mac owner, first time c programmer, and taking a c programming class which uses visual studio. Because I don't really understand the lingo yet, I'm not really sure what to search for, but since I need to work on visual studio projects on my mac, I need a simple text editor without a dependancy on project structure (like sublime, brackets or visual studio code) which can debug c projects (like, with a big green play button, I told you I don't know the lingo). I'm just looking to open up all the .c, .h files from the vs project folder and working on them before saving them back into it. Any recommendations? Apologies if this isn't the right place for this question.
